Pros

Great place to learn for an entry position engineer. Tons of connections, contacts, and companies to discover. A wealth of knowledge in the workforce, especially the quickly disappearing senior engineers. Abundant resources available to the engineer who will spend the time to take advantage of it, think tools equipment, training etc...

Cons

The ship is sinking. Layoffs after layoffs. Analogic's core competency business plan is heavily supported by government funding and policy, (TSA spending, healthcare spending). Little room to move up internally. Engineering team stretched too thin to be effective. Company is way too top heavy.

Pros

There are many opportunities to learn within and outside of your field of expertise from many experienced and intelligent people.

Cons

Much experience and tribal knowledge is lost with each reduction in force; company has changed from being an engineering company to a business.

Pros

A personally rewarding place to work if you put pride into what you do. They do reward those who go the extra mile.

Cons

Can be difficult to move up in the company for those that don't stand out from the crowd.
