Pros

We build excellent products in the field of Medical and Security. Management is poised to make this company great again. We still manufacture products in the good ole US of A The torch has been passed to a younger more up to date managment team. Analogic has a strong customer base, made up of mostly industry leaders.

Cons

It if difficult to teach the old dogs new tricks. Nobody embraces change easily. Teamwork is non-existant at Analogic. Non players are a hinderance to those who are sincere in using the team approach to accomplish their goals. It is positioned well for a take over.

Pros

There are a lot of good people trying to do the right thing. Most of the employees truly care about company direction and want to help Analogic be successful.

Cons

The company leadership is lacking; best positions go to friends of executive management, regardless of qualifications. The CEO and VPs need open their eyes to what is really going on in the company. Senior managers need to be strong enough to admit when issues exist and then come up with plans to address the problems. Instead, many issues get brushed under the rug, hoping that no one will notice (or that someone else will get the blame).

Pros

I got a chance to work with some very intelligent and competent engineers. Learned a lot and the people were friendly.

Cons

The company has frequent layoffs which seldom make the news. The remaining employees then have to work harder to make up employees that are gone. They have already laid off all of the deadwood and are now picking off the hard workers. There is a trend of the manufacturing operations getting sent off to China.
