Great place to learn quantitative market research and maybe break into managing people

Pros

Fast paced young company with mostly good people mostly. A good opportunity to work with smart people. A meritocracy for career advancement. Politics will not help you get promoted so promotions is just from focus on work. Nice office in mid-town Manhattan. Salary competitive compared to other companies in industry.

Cons

A lot of focus on customer service and I like to spend my energy on analytics and not holding client hands in understanding analytics. New York city is most expensive places to live and work.

There is a general lack of employee appreciation Promotions are either nonexistent or seemingly arbitrary Managers are generally in charge due to industry or technical expertise and not necessarily their ability to manage people or a workload
