      Good before the acquisition

      Pros

      Anaplan was a great place to work until a private equity firm was allowed to buy it. Caring people and a good product with high quality applications.

      Cons

      The private equity firm did a mass layoff and many highly talented people have their last day on Aug 21. We were told that outsource resources will take over our work. However those contractors have not been hired or trained yet.

      Colleagues are amazing, lots of really talented and motivated coworkers who are more than willing to help

      Cons

      Things have completely gone down hill since Thoma Bravo came in. There has been massive restructuring and layoffs that are not performance-based, lots of outsourcing of roles, and a huge shift in company culture - not for the better. Everyone is on edge and worried.
