Pros

Just about everything is positive about working at Ancestry. There's a real purpose to the work we do. The pay and benefits are the best I've ever seen in my career. And it goes without saying the people are great.

Cons

I often feel upper management are overly focused on with sales figures. There's so much talk about how the company is performing that it sometimes sucks the life out of the culture.

Family oriented, great benefits, fair compensation, work-home life balance, tuition reimbursement

Cons

Little room for lateral promotions within the company. Institutional knowledge does not seem to be enough to pay long-standing employees current market value.
