Pros

It's fun. Everyone here is friendly and works together, even across teams. Benefits and good and there are some nice perks.

Cons

The bottom line is always being considered. Sometimes, form beats function. Not many opportunities for growth within departments.

Pros

Ancestry.com is very family-friendly and genuinely interested in their employee's career development. There are many opportunities to develop one's skills while working to provide people with a quality family history experience.

Cons

Depending on the team you're in, the amount of legacy code can be a frustration that can hold back your team's adoption of current technologies and practices.
