Pros

The core business and product were great.

Cons

Recent leaders seemed too interested in making Ancestry fit into something it wasn't. It's good to push to change but not at the risk of the core principles of the business.

Pros

*Remote/hybrid work options *Free lunch Wednesdays *Holiday break at Christmastime *Great people to work with, for the most part *Company mission is very positive and impactful

Cons

Certain individuals are creating a toxic work environment and I'm seriously looking at leaving, which is sad, because it's only a couple people. It's incredible how much one or two people can impact your work. I love Ancestry, but coming to work lately has been really hard. People should be allowed to make mistakes without being treated like criminals. I hate interacting with people who seem to be looking for reasons to find fault.
