Business Outlook
Pros
In the past, Andersen was a premier Minnesota employer. Family owned and privately held, this company focused on developing its employees, on producing a quality product, and on providing excellent pay and benefits for quality performance. Disclaimer: I was part of the production lay off, and I remain bitter on how this was handled. At this time, I could not honestly say that there is a good reason to work for Andersen
Cons
Over the last seven years, Andersen had systematically decreased employee pay and benefits while adding additional layers of expensive management. Product quality is decreasing; due both the decreased morale in production and to poor design and materials.
