Pros

First and foremost, it is a job. Anderson offers health benefits to full time employees. The work is primarily independent.

Cons

Verbal praise does not pay the bills. Have been given misleading information more than a few times. Bottom line tends to skew integrity, at times.

Pros

None that I can think of at this point. It is getting to the point where I literally cant afford to keep this job.

Cons

When i was hired 4 years ago,I was told the hours were from 38.75 to 45 hrs a week. They are now a laughable 20-28 hours a week.In asked my District manager what was going on,and was told" its always like this this time of the year". Sorry, its not.Corporate could at least have the decency to tell us whats going on.We are all now part timers. My DM told me "Maybe I should get another part time job at a liquor store or something. Real professional.

Pros

The pay is very good for this position.

Cons

I loved this job when I first began 5 years ago because we were given adequate time for each project. However, the company has changed and is taking any and every client they can get, not realizing or not caring that there is not enough time in the week to service all these clients in a satisfactory way. In the beginning, I was able to take pride in my work, but now that there is so much to do that everything is slapdash and I go home at night feeling like I've accomplished little. This is not how I want to feel at the end of the day. Also, the way the stores are distributed into territories makes no sense. One territory may have 5 stores and another may only have one store. I'm sure this works out fine for the Territory Sales Lead who is only in charge of one or maybe two stores, but for those with 3, 4, or 5 stores it's a ridiculous amount of work to expect to have accomplished in a 40-hour week. And training is almost nonexistent. And as someone else pointed out, we are expected to effect change on the part of the store managers' compliance with their own corporate policy. I've had store managers get angry with me for harping on the same old thing about their non-compliance. You do need to have a thick skin to handle this job, and not get your feelings hurt easily. In my district, the schedules are very rigid and must be followed exactly as they are written by the district manager. Not to mention, they often change from one day to the next, so you have to check your schedule every morning to make sure you show up at the right store for that day.
