Very stressful

Pros

Flexible, mostly Monday through Friday, Get to move around a lot walking and meeting people. Pay is ok. Get to organize your work load most of the time.

Cons

Not knowing how many hours you will be working starting on Monday you could Be scheduled 35 hours and by Wednesday 4 more hours appear on schedule, I hate this can't plan your week like this and lack of respect for employees. I don't mind doing mod work but we never have the time needed to do the job! Very stressful when you want to do a good job but have to cut corners and pray one or two of your stores do the mods themselves. The New Release deadlines are not good with all that is on our plate. Low hours for weeks and then 2-3 weeks overtime not a way to keep good employees.

No Life Work Balance

Business Outlook

Pros

Working independently and learning about new products

Cons

Workload is unrealistic. The projects vs the amount of hours does not even come close to adding up. I work another job and was hired for part time. 20 hours became 40 hours and projects still could not be realistically completed. I was told that more people were being hired. Months later and nothing. The work is labor intensive and the pay does not add up to your responsibilities. And the schedule changes without notice. Sometimes on the same day. You could be heading to one job then realise that they changed your location and time and should be at a different job. And if you think that you can plan your week by the schedule that you receive on Monday, forget it. It will change everyday so don't make plans. Don't schedule appointments or activities because chances are you will have to cancel. I was excited to work for thia company because I enjoy working independently and being busy. But I would not recommend this job to anyone who has a family, friends, or any other obligations other than being at Wal-Mart working.

Pros

Flexible hours ... to a degree.

Cons

Low pay for new hires. Overwhelming territory size for full time field employees. Zero bonuses. Company can't retain part time employees due to work load versus pay.
