Pros

Fast-paced culture doing innovative work. Legitimately internal objectives to fix what’s broken in the defense industry. High expectations from engineering teams but with clear boundaries set to ensure that staff can use properly unlimited PTO, remain motivated, and don’t burn out.

Cons

Occasional cult-y vibes depending on team. WLB can suffer if you don’t assert boundaries.

Pros

It's a ton of fun to work on projects that are constantly making the news and seeing the hype from the general public. I also strongly believe in the mission of making defense more affordable because the old primes have gone insane with cost+. I've never been somewhere that is anywhere near as exciting for the quarterly meetings as Anduril is.

Cons

Every level of management is an absolute joke at best. There is apparently no training for management in the company, and there doesn't seem to be any real criteria to be placed in charge of others. The poor behavior ranges from hiding things from their employees to openly disparaging people and groups in meetings. There is a review process starting, but it's not effective, and there are no checks on managers if an employee raises concerns about them. HR is a complete joke at best and actively antagonistic towards employees if you raise concerns, rather than doing anything to address those concerns. The few managers who seem the know what they are doing as managers are forced to stay deeply engaged on the technical side, so they never have any bandwidth to manage or help when issues arise. There are many other issues at play, but one thing that's particularly notable is that the company seems to take pride in the idea that the primes and the way they do EVERYTHING is wrong, consistently ignoring the lessons that they have learned along the way. It's extremely arrogant and foolish and is going to bite them over the long term.
