Pros
I've been at Angi for 3 years and I'm consistently impressed by the positive environment and opportunities for growth. The tech stack is revived to fairly new, which means we get to work with cutting-edge technologies and continuously learn. Most engineers here are incredibly driven, and the standard is high, pushing everyone to perform at their best. While the company recently dealt with a merger of three different codebases, the transition has been mostly handled and things are now fairly standardized. This has actually created even more growth opportunities as we integrate systems and build new features. The work is interesting and keeps me motivated to come to work daily. The company also offers great flexibility with timings, which is a huge plus. Overall, this is a fantastic place to work if you're a tech professional looking for interesting challenges, a supportive team, and real potential for career advancement.
Cons
One area that could be improved is the presence of some abandoned parts of the system and codebase. A significant cleanup effort is overdue to address this and reduce technical debt. While this doesn't impact day-to-day work too severely, it's something that needs attention in the long term.
