Pros

PTO is acceptable, with satisfactory benefits. You can cultivate lifelong skills under the guidance of a competent manager, both at work and outside of it.

Cons

Stepping into a new environment made me realize that my previous workplace, a sorority run by many mean girls, was not the best. During my time there, only two managers focused on work, their employees, and improving the company, yet those who hit their goals were never rewarded. The other half of the workplace was a popularity contest, with some employees getting special treatment despite not contributing much. I was eventually laid off, and although it was tough, my manager warned me in advance and I appreciate that to this day. I believe they should leave the company because they are too good of a person to be there and may have been treated differently based on their race. It has taken me some time to write this review, but I am glad I did after seeing another recruiter's comments. The last person talked about metrics and favoritism in the department, and I sympathized with my former boss, who was the only one aware of what was happening. Our team faced challenges due to the actions of the "AR," who filtered hires to recruiters, a position that seemed unnecessary to me. Yes, the other recruiter who made a similar comment is right, and why I wanted to comment myself for more awareness. I also learned that many promotions were based on friendships rather than merit/performance and most of the managers were friends already from what I heard. If my former manager reads this, they should know they deserve better. They warned me about the layoff and prepared me to move on, which showed true leadership. I also believe that some racism may have influenced their development, as they consistently produced outstanding results without receiving due recognition.

Pros

The hiring process was quick.

Cons

I didn't even start this job because a doctors appointment I had scheduled would have taken me away from the computer for maybe 45 minutes. Angi said working for them was more important than my health. Also, the base pay is laughable. If you are looking for work-life balance, I recommend you keep looking.

During a New Hire's first weeks and of training, we want to ensure that we're providing the best training, understanding of internal systems, and that our new employees are fully trained to be successful once they graduate from training. As such, we do ask that all New Hires have availability to attend their new hire training sessions to help set them up for success. We wish you luck in your next endeavor.
