      Lots of Promises Before the Job...Dumpster Fire Once You Are There

      Has a few REALLY good managers and sales people with the company...

      Cons

      ...you most likely won't work for them or ever talk to them. The expectation is you will get 400 or so accounts every two weeks. Sounds great except, just about every company assigned to you has already gone through 39 other reps calling non-stop over the last 9 years they have been in business. With no notes ever left (or even required to by Angi) you are walking in blindly to a poor business owner who wants NOTHING to do with us and hates us for the never-ending sales calls. Stinks for you since there are no notes...stinks for the customer who, even if Angi is a good option to promote themselves, we have driven them to the point of hatred for Angi.

      No one at this company seems to understand how sales work

      Fully remote. Get paid every week.

      Cons

      The trainers seem to be very inexperienced and don’t seem to have much experience doing sales. You’re not actually taught any useful sales skills, you’re just told to pivot back to the script. Not a lot of transparency on where sales leads come from. Overall, this company’s sales practices are EXTREMELY shady.

If you have suggestions around ways in which to improve the sales strategy, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your manager or another senior leader in the sales organization. We've worked tirelessly on revising and improving the script and many salespeople at Angi experience tremendous success using the verbiage we've curated. Again, we're sorry this position isn't working out for you and hope you find a more suitable role in the future.

      Great Opportunity, Company Culture is Gross

      Pros

      There is unmatched opportunity to make money as a sales rep at this company as an entry level position. There are also great benefits and PTO plus work from home, so you couldn’t ask for more there! I never thought I would be in the position I’m in today financially and personally, all thanks to Angi. I make more than both my parents combined at my first job out of college and have paid off my student debt after 2 years at the company.

      Cons

      The company has a serious problem with its unprofessional and right leaning company culture. There is blatant sexism and racism daily and it is hard to deal with. For example, some sales teams or reps have nick names that are sexual in nature. I have had to correct my male supervisor on so many occasions it’s not even funny, in addition to the fact I know he has slept with 4 other women at the company below him. It’s gross. The management openly talks about gun loving, church going behavior that some people actually don’t appreciate, myself included. Politics and personal beliefs have no place at work along with their piggish behavior. Also, if you’re good at your job in sales, there’s nowhere to go in the company where you could be making more money. There are professional opportunities, but the pay is lower than a good rep, so only those who are mediocre take them. Leading to mediocre middle management and high turn over of top sales employees.
