Great Place to Work

Pros

Unlimited PTO. Management that cares about employees lives first, Competitive salaries, No expectations of working overtime to meet deadlines, remote work for engineering

Cons

ANGI is a larger company. While there is nothing inherently negative about that, software engineers looking for a role at a smaller company may be discouraged.

Thanks for your thoughtful post and for highlighting the strength of our management teams, our commitment to work/life balance, and our competitive compensation plans. The 4 day work week is definitely something worth considering and continues to make headlines as companies evaluate their hybrid work models. Our Culture & Engagement team is committed to finding the right balance for remote and in-person employees. We'll certainly weigh the pros and cons of a 4 day work week as we continue exploring options to make our hybrid work experience as successful as possible.

Good Work Life Balance

Pros

The people I work with are smart and experienced engineers. I enjoy the flexibility from working remotely here. Leadership seems to trust the developers, which is always a great plus since we can keep delivering high quality features (i.e no micro-management). Leadership is just a Slack message away so your voice will always be heard and answered to.

Cons

I wouldn't call it a con, a nice to have would be to sponsor an occasional, perhaps once a year trip to the office for remote teams to meet in person.

Thanks for your review. We're glad to hear that you enjoy the people you work with - we think we have a smart group of folks here, too! As we continue to navigate our hybrid work environment, your suggestion around hosting in-person events for remote teams is definitely valid. Feel free to reach out to our Culture & Engagement team with suggestions about how to improve connection and create inclusivity. They're always open to ideas and insight.

Thanks for your feedback. It sounds like you're generally pretty happy hear at Angi and we're glad to hear it! Angi doesn't mandate any specific courses outside of compliance training but we do offer a generous subsidy for educational courses and encourage team members to take advantage of it. If you're unfamiliar with the education stipend, please reach out to an HR Business Partner for more details.
