      Pros

      Large budgets, exciting brands, fair amount of autonomy, interesting and intelligent colleagues.

      Cons

      Greatly miscalculated the move from STL to NYC, from both infrastructure and workforce perspectives. Little to no advancement opportunity unless 1) internal talent program employee 2) willingness to relocate anywhere at anytime for an undesired role. Minimal, if any, exposure to upper management. Base salary calculated off of % of market - heavily bonus incentivized - 0 bonus payout to majority of employees for 5+ years running. Extensive domestic travel (could be a pro) required while adhering to ZBB cost restrictions. Have lost touch with wholesaler relationships - fair amount of resentment of the company on a local, family owned wholesaler level.

      Pros

      Opportunity to move through company quickly and advance through multiple positions/departments in a short amount of time. A lot of exposure to upper management.

      Cons

      Negative work environment makes it hard to want to put in 100% day to day. Very little appreciation from upper management. Results are never good enough and management gets caught in irrelevant details. A lot of planning with little follow through. Often make short term decisions that sacrifice long term results.

      Lots of opportunity including cross functional moves. Large levels of responsibility even at the lowest levels; ability to make a large impact

      Cons

      People are stretched thin and often not given the time they need to complete projects. Variable compensation could be better structured
