Working with IT customers was a great experience

IT management is terrible - unorganized, treats employee's with such disrespect, promotes pitting employees against each other, plays personal favorites and pick out certain employee's to make their life miserable

Pros

My position allows me a lot of opportunities to develop programs based on resident’s needs and management sees the value of allowing this flexibility.

Cons

The pay is embarrassingly low in every division which causes high employee turnover.

Pros

Great people and extremely relaxed atmosphere. Good work / life balance. The work is fun if you know what you're doing.

Cons

Reporting structure is very shaky and people are put in positions they should not be in. No support from upper management when issues are voiced and managers claim to not be micro managers but there is a lot of passive micro management going around. Mostly due to inexperienced managers still trying to do the job of their direct reports or still trying to learn how to do their own jobs.
