Poor Management

Pros

Flexible hours and there are a few employees that are cordial. The most enjoyable part of the job was going home.

Cons

A typical day at work would be working on redundant and inaccurate daily tasks. What I have learned is learning something new is either for those managers who are insecure and need validation to control their team by not sharing knowledge or for friends only. Based on the company's qualifications to be a manager, most of the management staff is not qualified to lead nor manage a team successfully, due to the lack of education and experience. The workplace culture is lead by the prejudiced mindset which leads to racist behavior. The hardest part of the job is being subjected to the behavior of favoritism and racism on a daily basis that this company openly endorses.

Pros

Nice office, somewhat flexible schedules, ability to work from home occasionally, overtime available, casual dress code, decent pay, benefits are OK

Cons

41 people laid off recently due to lack of work; this was done on a Friday with no warning and no severance pay, so everyone was left scrambling to find a job asap. Petty management, watch what you say around managers and expect to be let go immediately if you give a 2 weeks notice. Be prepared for a toxic environment where you hear people getting cussed out daily. No formal training, they just throw you to the wolves. No set process, so the job details change almost daily, and you will not know when it happens. Be prepared for frequent, long conference calls.

Pros

Benefits are OK Former GNET employees are great to work with

Cons

One week of vacation for up to 5 years of service is you are hourly. Two weeks if you are salary. Extremely arrogant management and upper management. Poor communication and layoffs handled in a terrible way.
