      Pros

      Good pay, benefits, and the company is financially sound

      Cons

      The management in some areas specifically around the Applications teams leaves a whole lot to be desired. They are more interested in covering the fact that they are relatively inept than trying to work on issues or solve problems and are known throughout their teams to take credit for the work of the individuals. If you have any sort of personal issues or disabilities, the company does not seem to care. They send out surveys and ask for honest feedback, but when you give it, it can be held against you.

      Not living by their values

      Pros

      Corporate offices are nice. Most frontline workers are helpful and genuine. Company is profitable. Seems to be a lot of career opportunities, but due to turnover.

      Cons

      Onboarding was laughable. Ongoing HR training was more like going through the motions, it wasn’t deep enough to really instill the skills or values. Lots of politics, indecisiveness, and infighting at the director/VP level. Poor organization design, no competency models, compensation structure is kept secret.

      Unfair promotion, poor management

      Pros

      Nice little town to work and live. No traffic jams. Nice colleagues, supportive and knowledgeable. OK payment, good reputation company to work for

      Cons

      Poor management, at least for developers, only these who has good relations with header get promoted. Contributions are less appreciated than flattering, motivation killing. Each department of ANSYS has different cultures, the one in Lebanon has wired atmosphere. Being excellent on flattery makes you successful😂
