Pros

Free gym membership, relaxed environment, great people, discounts at partnered businesses, plus cheap personal training

Cons

You mostly clean. 'Manager' is a misleading job title since majority of your work is cleaning the gym (bathrooms included), and sell memberships. there isnt really other staff to manage, and you aren't given a lot of managerial jobs other than billing problems.

Pros

Free gym membership, nice office with good facilities, parking (for some), offsite meetings to catch up with the team, Friday drinks

Cons

Anything related to HR is an awful experience, no pay rises, secrets, being treated like children, disrespect towards certain departments, unprofessionalism, tertiary degrees are not valued, high staff turn over, HQ staff are not protected compared to franchisees, under surveillance 24/7, sexist comments, high pressure environment, small budgets

Pros

Autonomous role where you can manage a club as if it was your own according to KPIs. Ability to work within a small close knit team.

Cons

Not too many cons. It’s what you make of it. However, there is not much career progression as it’s a small company.
