Pros

Solid company, proven structure, longevity. These are the things you can count on. Culture is friendly and everyone is willing to assist as needed.

Cons

Large company so things can get tied up in layers of management. Some promotions seem inequitable although this may vary across divisions.

Pros

Flexibility with telecommuting policy is a big plus. Some groups have low turnover which says a lot for the management. Overall benefits, including training opportunities, are decent.

Cons

Hard to get a promotion in many areas, unless you have the right connections. Given tight budgets, employees are more willing to make consessions on pay/bonuses - as long as it is perceived to be equitable. Many times, good resources end up leaving due to inequity.
