Pros

Decent salary for after college. Low stress - low reward kind of a deal.

Cons

This is an HR job. 40-60% of the time you are on the phone. Once you have built your spreadsheet your excel advancement is none. Really annoying environment. Seems like the blame always goes down to the Specialists. Poor training overall. Absolutely 0 opportunity for advancement. Takes 5 years to go from Specialist I to Team Leader. Poor benefits, expensive insurance. Glassdoor salary estimation is ON POINT. Use it to get on your feet after college and run

Pros

Co-workers were a hard working underpaid & under appreciated group that made a miserable job somewhat better.

Cons

You work daily in a environment that you won't be paid what you are worth & the term sweatshop comes to mind. It's always cutting costs w/Aon as an example your reward for a good annual review is a 1.5% raise which means hundreds of dollars more per year. They closed the Charlotte office & cut other jobs over 100 people gone nobody replaced. The solution you just have to work harder & hopefully you don't have to go to the bathroom before your break/lunch. You'll be yelled at for being away from your phone for 7-8 minutes & have your every move reviewed by managers who don't care about you because they get rid of those who did stick up for us.
