Pros

Great opportunities to get involved in projects outside of your job description. Collaborative environment, great work-life balance. Most of Aon is set up to be virtual, meaning you can work from home if needed.

Cons

The regular red-tape that comes with a large organization. Takes a bit to navigate at first.

Pros

Great career opportunities (but like anywhere you need to be proactive), great people to work with. I've worked in global and regional roles and my experience is consistent. Aon is constantly trying to better itself as a place to work which is genuinely admirable. They really care what you think and if you are a performer, many doors will be opened (as above and like any large MNCyou need to be proactive). A lot of focus on training and development and constantly developing in line with colleague and manager feedback

Cons

Still some way to go around working from home, however I come from a tech industry background so my benchmark is high! Complex org so sometimes consistency across geographies and business lines can be frustrating, but they are aware of this and actively changing to take a one aon approach

Pros

Leadership makes sound decisions, good development opportunities in general. Strong financial results consistently.

Cons

Sometimes slow on decision making and sticking to financial decisions. Financial results do not consistently flow to colleagues.
