Pros

The people at this company were some of the best people. They were truly kind, and the long hours spent at the office were made better by the fun we had together.

Cons

- There were far too few analysts to support the projects that consultants would take on. Because analysts did the bulk of the work, we were stuck working 60+ hour weeks because of the overwhelming number of projects consultants took on. Analysts repeatedly brought this up to managers, and no real change was made during the time I was with the company - Analyst turnover was HIGH, with analysts burning out after 1-2 years at the company. - At the time I was there, there was little flexibility to work from home.

Pros

The people there are friendly and supportive; Management is quite flat. Senior leaders are casual and easy to talk.

Cons

The retirement industry, especially the defined benefits part, is declining. Work doesn't have too much to do with innovation and new methods. If you are looking for something new or challenging, this might be the wrong place, unless you just need a job to apply your college knowledge.
