On paper Apex is great, in reality they are meh

Pros

The paper- The benefits package is the best and at a very low cost. Apex has absorbed the price increases for the past several years. There is always a celebration to give you the warm fuzzies. It is hard to get fired. Profit sharing is nice. Hybrid work

Cons

Reality- Profit sharing is highly taxed and unpredictable. Pay is our worth and give a yearly bonus if you see fit. Pay increases are not tied to any metrics, just a lump sum for each manager to decide how it should be split up on their team. Getting fired at Apex is hard which is great for the slackers but sucks for those picking up the slack. There is a hybrid work, but no one want to put on paper what this means, every department, team, and manager do something different. Some do not come in their ‘min’ days but nothing is done but threaten more in office time. Which will only impact those actually following the fluid ever changing rules. Social events that are to show what Apex culture is…. Is forced do it or be an outcast, heaven forbid you RSVP and something come up.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experience with our company. The uncertainty around hybrid attendance requirements has been an ongoing topic of conversation as we try to navigate this new territory. Currently, we are actively listening to as many employees as possible to gather feedback to make the best decision for the employee, company, and our clients - so we appreciate you speaking up. We regularly review market pay to ensure we are paying fair wages to our employees. Although the current economic climate has made things difficult for a lot of people, we are thankful for the opportunity to share the company profits with our employees. Your comments about middle management are valuable, and we recognize the importance of fostering a culture of innovation and growth. We invest in training and development programs to encourage our middle managers to embrace new ideas and support our employees' career aspirations. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. We value your commitment to the company and are determined to create a better experience for all our employees. Pros

Great Place for someone who wants to do more than just survive. There are opportunities to grow a job into a career and management really desires to grow the business and shares profits with the employees. Benefits are top notch! Downtown Fort Worth is a convenient location and offers a fun atmosphere.

Cons

Expectations are high and not a place to skate by on minimal effort.
