exposure to various alternative asset classes but this is also dependent on the team, clients and jurisdiction you work for

Cons

low salaries no performance incentives archaic reporting structures rigid progression which leads to stagnation good talent is often not appreciated long hours

Pros

Little oversight as long as you get your work done

Imagine planning a vacation with your family. You guys have decided to go on a cruise to see wonderful places that you have on your bucket list. You chose this specific cruise because the itinerary ticks literally every single box of yours. Now imagine that a few days in, the crew, one by one, starts jumping off the ship. Well, this is a problem, right? So you go to the captain to raise your concerns for your safety. The Captain says, actually, this is our strategy. We WANT our crew to jump overboard so we don't have to pay their salaries. And don't worry, the few crew remaining will be able to handle the situation. But then the next day, the captain HIMSELF jumps of the ship. The situation I've just described is basically what the clients here are experiencing. They've entrusted Apex to provide them financial services, and the organization's strategy is to encourage employees to leave. The few who remain get more and more of the work, and the clients suffer with longer waits, poorer communication, and start contemplating finding alternative solutions. Come on board and join us if you're absolutely desperate. Otherwise, steer clear.
