Pros

Location is central and that is a positive

Cons

- unrealistic expectations from management - high staff turnover - no recognition for hard work - promotions based on how much you are liked - legacy employees favoured (DB) - too many changes and mergers, with support functions within the organization not ready to integrate everyone - no work life balance - interviewers portrayal was nothing like the actual job sold - step back in career

Pros

I got to see how bad a working environment can be

Cons

Everything from the management to the toxic environment. They didn't have enough toilets so at times we had to use toilets in bars. The salary is good but was no where near enough to make it worth while. The environment is toxic. They failed a lad on probation but rang him a day later to come back because someone else quit. Everyone I know told me not to take the job. 2 months into my role with apex I was applying for other roles. On my team of 10 6 people left in 5 months. They only good thing about this company is any time I meet someone who worked there we get a laugh out of how bad it was that's it!! Never again!

Pros

None, beware. Apex of failure.

Cons

There has been a significant discrepancy between the inclusive workplace environment and open dialogue principles promoted by the organization and the actual culture experienced by team members. The work environment cultivated by top, middle, and front-line managers often lacks the respect and inclusion that are fundamental to a positive workplace and result in team members feeling disrespected and undervalued. Instances of managers displaying impatient and short-tempered behavior have been noted. Team members have reported being scolded for not immediately following instructions, which creates a stressful and hostile work atmosphere. The prevalent leadership style among some managers is perceived as overly authoritative and hierarchical. Phrases such as "I am the boss, you can leave, I don't need you" suggest a dismissive attitude towards team members and a lack of support. Feedback from team members is often interpreted as disrespect rather than constructive input. This has led to an environment where employees feel hesitant to voice their concerns or suggestions. Furthermore, there have been reports of managers encouraging team members to resign or leave the company, despite satisfactory performance. This practice undermines employee morale and retention efforts.
