I sued Aplicor for unpaid commissions - and won

Pros

Aplicor had a great team and then it blew up! Brought in a new CEO that was not at all prepared for the job.

Cons

Sales people BEWARE. I was 'let go' because they were moving in another direction. Coincidentally they owed me $80,000 in commissions. Sued them - took 3 years and they spent $$$$ and lost. Judgement $80,000 for me and another 23,000 in extra costs for them. Plus whatever they spent on a Harvard attorney at Singerman. They tried to make me sign a non-disclosure, which was stupid because they lost, it was not a settlement.

Company is internally mixed up....

Pros

Good compensation, casual work environment., co workers.

Cons

Company is downsizing due to the fact that the product is missing key features to compete as they think the product can, and fit within the intended client verticals. Management is not very attentive and forward moving and not focused or cohesive inter company wide to have a collective and new ideas, this is delaying the company's growth and forward movement. The focus on the product and internal support snags, and account attrition the company shelters it from really seeing the real type of client to engage with and respective processes to convert them. Also there is favoritism between certain people in team areas where other folks are more on their own...denying what this company really needs.... a collective workforce.

An exciting and challenging time to be working for a company with enormous ambition.

Pros

With the launch of a new CRM, ERP and eCommerce application that is being rolled out globally it is a very exciting time to be working for Aplicor. As the product is growing all employees can gain great experience by contributing to regular enhancements.

Cons

Although the launch of the new product is a very exciting time, this has associated risks.
