Pros

Apollo used to be the place to work. Everyone who wanted a challenge and innovative place to work wanted to work here. Now, all the company cares about from its IT management is how do we outsource to save our hides.

Cons

The CIO outsourced some of the best talent in the business that had been with the company for years to save a little face and keep his bonus secure. The IT dept will be run by offshore people in no time.

Benefits are really great, especially the longer you work there. The people are awesome. They provide training and tuition benefits so you will learn a lot from working here.

Cons

The opportunity for promotions rarely come up, the leadership either does not communicate or looks out for his or her own interests.

Flexible work hours, work/life balance (depending on team), opportunity to have a job or title you wouldn't be qualified for elsewhere.

Cons

Multiple teams doing the same thing, excessive changes in management and building moves, too much money spent on multiple groups doing the same thing, inconsistent processes, misuse of manager and director titles, too high of salaries for people that add absolutely no value.
