Too much micro management, all about the numbers so lost focus on the human aspects, layoff after being told the last were it, zero room for advancement. The hours, working past 5 doesn't do anything but make families miss spending time with loved ones. Management doesn't ever work that late but sure expects you too.

I have worked for Apollo Group for 4 years. At first it was great, but then I realized quickly that there was little or no room for advancement pretty quickly. Over the last year especially there have been so many different directions and emphasis on a quarter to quarter basis. It is almost impossible currently to determine what would make me successful at my job. What I do know is that if you are successful you can only hope to keep your job. You dont make more, have a chance at a promotion, and you are always recorded so you are also a comment away from losing your job as well. This company has gone down hill very quickly and seems to have an identity crisis.
