Flexible remote work but lacks job security and culture
Pros
The company is completely remote and gives flexibility on working timings. But mandates to be available during core working hours 8:30pm IST to 10:30pm IST. Since it is a startup, its very easy to connect with leadership team and they do welcome new ideas
Cons
Very fast paced environment with no specific culture. They hire very young engineering managers who further ruins the motivation of the employees to work. They play a lot of politics and drama to avoid promotions. For the sake of their personal development, they dont hesitate to risk the lives of good engineers. There is absolutely no job security. An engineer will be fired at any point of time without any prior hints or feedbacks. So EM is the one who decides everything. Zero work life balance and no diversity and inclusion considered.
