Pros

Work-life balance with flexibility and hybrid work schedule

Cons

They had a disappointing open-door policy, or rather, the lack thereof. The company followed an old-school system that strictly enforced a hierarchical structure. This made it nearly impossible to voice concerns, provide feedback, or seek guidance from individuals higher up in the chain of command. The absence of an open-door policy stifled communication, hindered collaboration, and discouraged employees from sharing valuable ideas and suggestions. Furthermore, skipping levels to address concerns or seek assistance was heavily discouraged. This archaic approach hindered progress, stifled innovation, and left employees feeling unheard and undervalued. Additionally, lack of delegation and micromanagement had inadvertently become ingrained within the bank. To foster innovation and growth, management must trust in their talented employees' abilities and grant them the freedom to take ownership of their work. Embracing autonomy will lead to enhanced creativity and productivity, propelling everyone forward.

Pros

What is the best part of working at the company? None. There's no structure and lack of communication. As an employee, you're made to feel de-valued. No TRUST What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Stressful and unwelcoming. No morale What is a typical day like for you at the company? Very long and stressful. No value which is why many left.

Cons

HIGH turnover, Leadership (executive) have no experience, strategy, direction, and therefore no communication or guidance. "You figure it out " attitude. Extremely POOR environment. Manager is extremely disrespectful and arrogant. Seems like the majority here play hot potatoe trying to pass tasks off on others, LOTS of finger pointing and no accountability, no direction. Feels like this bank is a Big Rig speeding down a mountain without brakes. Think long & hard before seeking a career here. This place is by no means committed to protecting your anonymity or confidentiality when reporting an issue. Instead of fixing an issue they allow managers to retaliate against individuals who report in good faith suspected violations of bank policy, laws, and regulations. Basically if you’re stuck with a clueless manager, what he says goes.. No desire to change or improve anything. Did not utilize employees strengths and abilities to improve the work environment. Stuck in 1970’s as far as technology use understanding Geographic biases Inflexible Managers had no understanding on how to coach, develop or keep employees. Lost almost all his employees due to his poor management style of doing things. Needs to learn how to support and mentor individuals and be open to ideas and suggestions. Rather they try to put people against each other within the departments and set them up for failure.
