      Great Company with Great People

      Pros

      Flexible working arrangements, stable management, variety of customers and projects, multiple locations, great people to work with.

      Cons

      Variety of projects may be a downside if you are looking for more stability. Compensation is competitive for contract engineering firm, but less than a full time employee of the customers served (modest incentives).

      Pros

      Applied is a good company to work for if you are fresh out of college and don't have any other job offers. You can get a lot of good experience here that can set you up for a better job at a different company after a year or two of working PTO amount is decent

      Cons

      Medical insurance is kind of expensive even for the low end choices Pay increases per year aren't that great, you can go above and beyond and put in 110% and if you're lucky you'll get a 3% salary increase HR can be a pain to try and communicate with. Sometimes have to send 2-3 emails before getting a response and then another 2-3 to get the rest of the response that you want

      - Good work hour flexibility - Potential for diverse work environments - Opportunity for various engineering projects - Great coworkers - Management seems to genuinely care about advancing the careers of all employees

      Cons

      - Can sometimes feel like you belong more to the customer company than Applied due to the project-based work that commonly takes place at the customer location - Projects can terminate suddenly without much forewarning which requires a change in the workload and sometimes change in location
