Pros

Incredibly satisfying working here with a million things to do everyday and all of them are impactful. Worked at big tech before, and was pulling my hair out in boredom near the tail end of my stint. People here are great to work with, high talent density and folks are always friendly. Culture of the company is always improving. Saw some problems when I first joined on code quality, saw marked improvements + leadership listened when engineers shared this feedback. Business fundamentals are solid, series F investors are a great proxy. Compensation increased 8x in a span of 4 years.

Cons

Do not join if you want a work life balance. This is a startup, you will work hard everyday, you will have to work on anything and everything to make your team successful, and do it well all at the same time (long term projects, 0-1 projects, customer support). This is a performance based culture, so some people will love this, others will hate it. Don't join if you want to coast. This is probably where some of the alarming reviews here on glassdoor are about (people got fired + pushed out because their performance is not there).

Pros

I really like my team, and our technology is very cool. Lots of opportunities for growth (technical leadership, management, and international rotations). Nice benefits (they updated the vacation days policy to be super competitive, free food, reimbursed gym memberships). Lots of exposure to customers so you always know that you're working on something that matters. Leadership really understands the industry well.

Cons

Customer commitments can be tough sometimes when unexpected bumps come up in engineering. Occasional super early or late meetings since there are so many international customers.
