Pros

-Many companies say "we're making the world a better place", but Applied has a really cool mission that is actually impacting the world. I feel like the work that I do every day is actually contributing to this. -Selective recruiting keeps the bar high and the company full of really smart people. -Fast growth in career opportunities and compensation (equity value is increasing quickly). -Multiple liquidity events for employees to sell their equity while the company is private. -Promising path ahead over the next decade as the company creates it's own market around the physical AI layer.

Cons

-Hard work and longer hours than the common tech companies. -Office perks are not lavish (altough benefits are great). -High expectations from leadership can be stressful. -Office location makes it difficult to work at the company when living in SF or upper East Bay.

Pros

- if you come and work here you will work with lots of smart people - the company and the business are doing really well - the management is intentional about making changes for the long term health of the businesses

Cons

- if you are not able to regulate yourself, you will have a hard time adjusting to the pace - the company is global, meaning that the bar is higher for quality of products and therefore output

Pros

- Great place to learn and grow - There are plenty of new challenges to take on - Management believes in your success and gives you the tools to learn about incredibly complex and technical products - There's a lot of trust given here, so it's important to be able to self-regulate

Cons

Applied isn't joking about the fast pace. If you're someone who wants to work a 9-5, then you'll probably not enjoy your time here. It's not for everyone, and that's ok!
