Pros

This company is the clear leader in the various space(s) it operates in. The workforce is highly talented, skilled, hungry, and a pleasure to work with. Teams are motivated and many of us enjoy working on the types of problems we're faced with. - Great people - Cool tech - Bright business opportunities/futures - Fast pace

Cons

There is an increasing sense of toxicity coming from upper echelons of the company. Right now the growth stage the company is in (one of becoming a real company vs a startup) is suffering from mercurial leadership, micromanagement, and ruling by fear/intimidation. It's a very uncomfortable place to be. And the fear of retribution coupled with lack of seeing any positive change come from flagging concerns to leadership has created an environment of extreme anxiety at most levels. - Mercurial leadership - Horrible vacation policy - Stock options are weak (offer letter misleading) - Lack of trust

Pros

Business fundamentals are good, and we are well positioned to grow in our current state. Impact of the work means modernizing the Automotive industry software in a practical and pragmatic way. The moves we are making make sense and seem natural for our company. The people here are focused, smart, and talented, without being arrogant or rude. Overall an awesome community to learn from and grow with. People who you know have your backs.

Cons

Work life balance is not for everyone, and being so successful with a relatively small team means there is a lot of work to do. Firefighting may take priority over developing scalable software at times.

Pros

- Laser focused on execution - Actions are never open loop. Market and customer signals pretty much always close it - Good growth opportunities for generalists - Transparency - Opportunities to learn about different aspects of the company. Example, marketing, finance, etc

Cons

- In my experience, not the best place for those who want to specialize in their careers
