      Great first-time experience and opportunity in the industry, but no growth long term.

      Pros

      Applied Medical and it's operations associate program provides great learning opportunities. Department has flexible work flow and schedule. Enjoyable collaborative environment.

      Cons

      Applied Medical is very cheap. The compensation is low compared to the market value of the position and job responsibilities.

      Pros

      Internship, a good place to sleep over the weekdays.

      Cons

      Family run business of company size 2400 employees. Easy company, easy job for lazy office workers, a good place to sleep over during the weekdays. A place like Starbucks coffee shop to enjoy fantastic coffee and chat. Of course, LOW PAY for LOW COST PRODUCT. Cheating process, and bad quality products. But your boss said so, then you have to let it go.

      Pros

      Lots of potential opportunity, youth, and energy. The culture is positive and friendly. Great place to get some medical device experience if you want it. Medical benefits don't increase in cost year over year. There has never been a layoff (see below).

      Cons

      Immature leadership and support systems, and resistance to change is very common. Pay always starts low for the privilege of working for there, and will only start to rise after you prove your worth, which typically takes years. Longevity is a big challenge due to family politics. The 401 k plan selection and matching couldn’t be worse. There has never been a layoff because most team members are fired, unless they are lucky enough quit first.
