Pros

They will accept no medical device folks and provide an opportunity to get into the industry. Use them as a stepping stone and double your salary someplace else within 3 years

Cons

salary way below market rate, poor benefits, nepotism, top down management, very little actual responsibility or chance to develop skills

Pros

Work hours are fairly rigid, so there is not expectation to work longer than an 8 hour day. There are very little expectations of the employees. Once you are hired all you have to do is show up on time, be nice, say "Team" repeatedly, and you will stay forever. Environment is fairly relaxed and the expected attire is jeans and a shirt.

Cons

All management (at all levels) have very little experience outside of Applied, so managers are managing team members that should be in the reverse positions. Moreover, the company seems to be operating as if the year was 1999. Emails are responded to in full and complete sentences with greetings and salutations. This is incredibly inefficient and negates any speed by which problems are addressed. Many female managers work part time and do not come in Fridays so the work week is technically 4 days long., and everyone knows it. There is absolutely no gratitude for those individuals who are driven and competent to perform. For those who can, more tasks are given, but for those who cannot less tasks are provided with equal pay. There is no correlation between capability, work quantity/quality, and seniority or pay. The mantra for the company is: head down, years of service, you will move up. The entire company, in particular Clinical Development, is completely averse to change (even if mandated through regulatory bodies). All team members would prefer to not do their work in full and get reprimanded by federal entities rather than do what is required in the first place.

Pros

Nice campus and that's pretty much it.

Cons

The management is absolutely awful. The presidents put incompetent people in charge and then wonder why departments are a complete mess. Due to incompetent leadership, there's hardly any opportunity for growth. The only people with job security and opportunity for growth are members of the CEO's family. Anyone can get fired at any given time without notice. From one moment to the next employees are gone. If your key card all of a sudden doesn't work then hope for the best, but chances are you're out of there.
