Pros

- There are a lot of great people that work at Applied, and it has a good work environment. - The benefits start the first day you are hired, and there is no waiting period like most companies. - I feel my job is secure, and there are big layoffs. - The company is growing very rapidly. There are a lot of good career opportunities, especially in IT and sales. - It is a casual work environment where you can wear jeans every day. - Applied has a lot of entry level opportunities for new college graduates. It is a good place to learn, and grow your career. - My department is managed very well, and has a strong team focus.

Cons

Communication from senior management to lower management could improve.

Pros

- You don't take your work home if you don't want to. - Employees are united in their frustration with the company. - As some senior technicians put it, the checks don't bounce. - The cafeteria food is good.

Cons

- You can bet support fees go up every year, you can bet your pay won't. - You will see half of new hires to not make it much past their first year. - Absolutely unfair and noncompetitive pay for work done, bringing a 40 user agency back into action after a server meltdown may result in a $10 gift card, if you're lucky. - Being dragged into meetings where record profits are touted, receiving press releases of major corporate clients being signed, and having support fees go up each year all the while you are told that you're lucky to get the $250-1,000 raise you received is insane. - 5 day to 9 month turn around on internal job applications, the average is about 4 months. - You have to receive a better job offer from a different company to receive a raise and a better job at this one. - Morale has been in a constant decay year after year and manages to be at its lowest each year.

Pros

I've just completed my first month at Applied Systems and have never experienced a better work environment in my life. Everyone is both motivated and supportive in what they do and everyone is extremely organized. My higher ups treat me with respect and do not doubt my abilities, despite my young age and are always willing to put their crucial projects in my hands. The benefits and pay are amazing and I feel extremely lucky to be here.

Cons

Honestly, the only con I can think of is the continuity issues with the previous branding, but all of that is being addressed currently.
