Pros

Relaxed atmosphere, casual dress, flexible hours, work at home and part time availability in some departments. Good company with a good future. Very stable. For most people, pros outweigh the cons and they stay. Have a lot of long time employees. Most people get their birthday off.

Cons

Lower pay, no Christmas bonus, poor HR department. Used to promote from within, but do not anymore since the last buyout. Most management positions are brought in from outside. All buddies.

Pros

Laidback atmosphere with plenty of friendly individuals. Lots of nice perks like bagel day, in-building workouts led by a personal trainer three days a week, and everyone get's a day off for their birthday. Company has had substantial growth in recent years and is projected to continue this trend.

Cons

Would be nice to have a little bit more vacation time starting out (2 weeks), although I don't know how this compares to other companies.

Pros

The people that stick around here are mostly good people. I call some of my favorites actual friends. They enjoy coding by their quiet selves or enjoy helping people over the phone. Management can be nice, depending on what team you land in when you start or get moved around. The office is large and nice, and has an atrium they use to offer a few perks.

Cons

Upper management is turning into a clown car of corporate drones. They can't help it; it's their natural way. But they are starting to get top-heavy, and really only care about growing. Our regular meetings are filled with charts showing how much money they are making and what companies we are buying out, but that doesn't mean it will end up in our pockets. Instead, they just spend it on more executives and on their precious corporate image. We have a lot of offices now, but wages are barely fair. They almost are equal in each office, but living costs in those respective areas are greatly different. This should be a factor when deciding wages. That's a simple fact that's over-looked from what I've heard from employees in the remote/smaller offices.
