Bad company

Pros

They offer nice words and speeches. If you like nice "frontend", this company is for you

Cons

Aptean purchases the company and replaces the employees. If you are QA or development not in China or India: start looking for a new position. Difficult to resolve issues between departments. High focus on billable hours, or utilization. Even though most of the days are spent chasing down internal resources. Upper management only cares about utilization and profitability, not client or employee satisfaction. All employees are a number and will be replaced. Aptean acquires companies at such a rapid pace they haven't taken the time to understand what it takes for them each to be successful during and after acquisition.

We appreciate your feedback. Over the past two years, Aptean has had great success building a stronger, more stable company. We have continued to focus on the long-term success of our customers and in doing so have made changes to our strategy, to focus on customers first and then on acquiring businesses who can benefit from our strategy and scale. While we recognize that being part of an acquisition can be disruptive, we spend a lot of our time continuously learning from the process and driving improvements to our integration processes, to minimize the impact on our people. We continue to see the advancement of careers of high performers within our core business and the businesses that we have acquired. And when we have to make tough decisions that have an adverse impact on our employees, we do so transparently and with a great sense of responsibility to our entire employee base.
