      Pros

      Seemed from the pitch at company merger there could be some positives. Found it was all talk and no positive action. Slashing costs appears to be the only real priority.

      Cons

      Management assurances that the employee cuts were over ended up not being true. On-going rounds and turmoil of cuts and changing directions as management constantly changes. Appears to just be a venture capital company buyout positioning itself again for yet another sale to turn a large profit for the holding company.

      Pros

      Some of us still have jobs....but that will change soon enough

      Cons

      Clients and employees are interchangeable parts in some second rate business school income model. It's all about locking in the customer for, as long as possible, offering as little as possible, and keeping the staff on the "Aptean Edge" all the time. Every now and then, push someone off the edge to keep costs and service levels down.

      Pros

      There are many great people working at Aptean. Aside from the actual work, it was somewhat enjoyable. Great benefits.

      Cons

      Vista runs everything with no input from Aptean employees. The Aptean Execs have no say-so in the companies direction. Salaries are well below other companies in the industry. They terminated many experienced employees and bring in people with little experience and pay them very little. There is no energy in anyone, They all just seem defeated. People are afriad to speak up for fear of being targeted by their superiors.
