Sales compensation is above average and employees of the legacy companies that merged to form Aptean are very knowledgable about products and industry.

Cons

In the 2.5 years since Vista acquired and merged these two companies there have been 3 CEO's, 3 CFO's, 3 COO's, 3 marketing VP's, 3 NA sales VP's, and 2 global sales VP's. Does that sound like a healthy company with a solid strategy and a potential for growth and stability?

Pros

Training - lots of it for new hires. Constant change - thus, there may be promotion opportunities. Profitable - the business is making money. People - there are a good number of competent, thoughtful, hardworking people at this company.

Cons

Constant management shakeups all the way to the CEO level. The company is completely run by the financials. Don't get me wrong, businesses need to be profitable. However, long-term profitability also requires strategy, vision, and leadership which are lacking at Aptean. The focus is margins, margins and more margins. Building world-class product(s), is not a key focus of this company. Due to the constant turnover and the focus on margins at the expense of product makes providing quality support and services very challenging.
