      Pay is very low Not much potential for advancement Little to no new product development going on Parent company is clueless HIgh turnover More and more responsibilities without additional compensation Disorganized management Training is nonexistent Benefits are not good and are getting worse yearly

      Aptean - where talents come to die

      Pros

      Very few pros nowadays, but the work mates are great overall, and interesting customers (who unfortunately are getting seriously screwed by Aptean).

      Cons

      Upper management has no clue how to run a software company. Administration and reporting in absurdum, so much time/energy wasted to report the work that therefore fails… Management has no belief in its experienced workers, who actually are the company’s biggest asset. Minimum staff in all core operations (development/engineering, support, services etc.) and endless freedom for some to come up with new complicated work methods/processes. I could go on forever…
