Pros

Few and far between....pretty much all of the recent POSITIVE reviews are FALSE due to HR's push to shore up Glassdoor and other sites' reviews. They asked the HR staff and other employees to post positive reviews because so many good candidates were dropping out after seeing so many poor reviews here. Pay attention and read reviews for at least 90 to 180 days to get the true picture of this charade.

Cons

Constant turmoil, lack of direction, tactics and strategy are always in a state of flux, not enough products are leaders in their market segments, can't catch up from technology perspective, HUGE EMPHASIS on hiring and under paying entry level employees then laying off mid level and senior employees, horrible employee morale in every department, jerk around sales dept by setting moving target on bonuses that don't get paid, EXTREMELY POOR and EXPENSIVE employee benefits. As soon as this place is moderately stabilized in the next 24 - 36 months from a financial perspective, then it is very likely that Vista Equity Partners will sell it and the real blood bath will start.

Pros

Global company with interesting ERP, CRM, SCM software product mix. 3 weeks of vacation for new employees. Professional casual dress. Good location in Perimeter area of North Atlanta.

Cons

Aptean is now a jobs program for former Red Prairie software employees. Hardworking people are let go frequently and replaced by former Red Prairie software employees. Morale is horrible. Attitude and commitment mean nothing. It's all about who you know from Red Prairie. Workspaces made much smaller to accommodate growth followed 3-4 months later by employee cuts due to reduced revenue.

Pros

Ever since the merger in 2012, there has been a lot of turmoil and change, however, starting late last year, the dust has widely settled and the company is poised for growth. Backed by one of the most successful PE firms has certainly helped with setting now SOP's and policies. New mgmt has also taken great strides and within a calendar year has accomplished what previous mgmt had failed to do in about 10years. Much development in the Product portfolio and many opportunities for promotion and internal growth.

Cons

Constant change towards improvement makes for a dynamic environment. Not for those looking for a stale and dry work environment.
