There are possibly some but in my time with Aptean (since inception) I didn't really encounter any

Driven by the bottom line only, every person is measured purely on cost. It doesn't matter how good you are, if you are expensive and we're not hitting the exorbitant 30% + margins dictated by Vista you're gone. Beyond that there is an overall feeling that no one, even at the VP level, has any say in the management of the company with every single decision being made by Vista. As bad as I thought Consona was in terms of valuing and empowering it's people it was leaps and bounds over Aptean.
