      Extremely hard but worthwhile endeavor

      Pros

      You learn so much about yourself doing d2d sales, including positive thinking, emotional regulation, and the sales process. The training (if taken seriously by the individual) is elite, and will help you succeed.

      Cons

      The work hours during the summertime are crazy. Expect no work life balance during this time. But the rest of the year you get to enjoy doing whatever you want.

      Pros

      If you are a new rep you will have a whole slew of access to sales material, training videos, pitches, etc. but their service for customers is nowhere close to what most managers will pitch you to say. Small Mom and Pop shops will generally provide a much better service than what active reps sell to their customers.

      Poor service. High cancellation rates.

      They provide a company phone.

      Cons

      The sales team in my area were aggressive and my routes had many people who were not expecting my arrival because they had canceled the service. I was there to treat for pests, but often felt like the pest.
