Great summer job

Pros

-work outside -fun job to work with friends -it is an engaging job but not too demanding -it's fun being around kids and families, having a positive attitude helps. -they manage a few nice pools near my house, don't travel far for work. -pool manager and their managers have our backs and are very supportive. -good training

Cons

-the pay is not the best but is very good compared to other companies, plus many are entry level summer jobs. -you do have to do some dirty work, cleaning pool, restrooms, etc. They were clear about this in interview so I knew what I was signing up for. -the point system started out confusing and sounded dumb, but after a year and a raise, it made more sense and works well.

Pros

If you have a good manager and good guards you can have fun

Cons

Area and regional managers do not help you, if you get a bad manager it's miserable, supervisors literally spy on you from the bushes, horrible pay, you have to pay for a new uniform every year, you have to pay for certification, the list goes on

• Fun if you have a good manager/coworkers

Cons

• low pay • you pay for certification & uniform • not many hours, until the end of summer when college kids go back to school. Then you work doubles 7 days a week • no one can work for you • the area manager/HR will NOT reply no matter how urgent the situation • again TERRIBLE managers
