Pros

Mid-size company with a small company feel and excellent growth. Everyone I've met, from project teams to random people in the hallway, is rock solid. Great social activities almost every month, participates in local charities and events, and great flexibility for work/life balance.

Cons

The company really is in a growth spurt and sometimes the change management can be difficult, especially for people who work mostly offsite and don't experience the day-to-day changes. But I understand they've been through growth like this before, and they;re trying to get things in place to scale as the company expands.

Pros

I think Aquilent is a great company. Aquilent has been growing but it still feels like they care about the things that are important to me. Work/life balance, professional growth, operating with autonomy, achieving promotions, and working on meaningful programs are all priorities for me and it feels like they are also priorities of the organization. The benefits are great and the support from HR on these is outstanding. We have incredible events for the employees including a wonderful holiday party and a Wine and food festival called Taste of Aquilent. There are cutting edge, exciting technology projects at every turn and the work we do makes a difference in the world. The executive leadership is accessible up through the CEO. I have not been with another company where I have realistically had access to the CEO so that is refreshing. There are opportunities to move to different projects. Aquilent cares about what I want to do and not just what I can do. That is very important to me because I don’t want to stop evolving and growing and would not stay at a company that limits and discourages my growth. This a great place for me and one that I expect to continue to grow with.

Cons

The experience being at HQs in Laurel is different than on a customer site. We need to connect those of us that are not onsite at HQs in a better way.

Pros

Flexible work schedules, friendly staff and colleagues, many many many planned Aquilent events to promote work life balance, and overall a company that cares about their growth and development as well as YOUR growth and development

Cons

The team that I worked with could use a little bit more structure and organization. It was a bit hard to find documents, and our project management tool became a graveyard for all documents.
