Pros

Operating an establishment on a college campus that is only required to be open when the university students are in session, allows for vacation opportunities during desired holiday times like Christmas and Thanksgiving. Many other food service establishments such as restaurants would be open around and on holidays.

Cons

Many dining facilities are required to be open 7 days a week and offer all 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) to accommodate students that live on campus and have no other options for meals. Often many dining facilities are now being open for a fourth (late night) meal option. Being open for this long requires more hours of operation and more time to be spent at work for management, managing the operation(s). Not ever closing during operational times (ie. school semesters), can cause a poor work/life balance as off time is usually required to be spent at work keeping or catching up with a ever growing amount of paperwork and personnel issues.

Pros

Can get away with below average work.

Cons

The local management is horrible. There have been three General Managers in less than a year. Please read the reviews below, the most recent reviews are all tied back to the Dallas market center. The market center loses customers daily and the market center is staying afloat from National contracts....which the local Account Executive will not get paid for. All of the customers/prospects that have a choice, will choose another vendor if that ask around. Like someone reviewed below, the only way AEs get deals are by personal relationships or price. The price will get raised on the customer in a few weeks, so the customer will complain to the AE, RSR, DM and customer service until they get our of their contract. Selling a service you know will disappoint your customer is a hard thing to do. Ethics here are very low because the AEs, Sales Manager and GM will sign off on deals in other territories. They are desparate for business here and are will to fake signatures and addresses if it will get paperwork through the process.

Pros

Free food from your customers

Cons

Cut pay about a year ago, commission from 14% to 7% on many accounts. Short on product to give the customer often. Unload and load your truck everyday.
